Dr. Sarah Curry, MD, is a board-certified family medicine physician who joined Southern West Virginia Health System in 2025. She is passionate about providing high-quality primary care to patients at every age and stage, with a special interest in supporting the health, independence, and well-being of older adults.
A graduate of the WVU School of Medicine Rural Track, Dr. Curry has always been committed to serving communities where access to care can be challenging. She has volunteered with outreach programs for individuals experiencing homelessness in Morgantown and Charleston, and her leadership with the Gold Humanism Honor Society included organizing “The Summit,” a conference on aging in Appalachia.
Dr. Curry is excited to welcome new patients into her practice. She provides Convenient Care services for non-emergency needs that require quick attention, and also offers ongoing primary care-based family medicine. As a new patient, please plan to arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment so we can complete your registration. Be sure to bring your photo ID, and if applicable, your health insurance card for check-in. Also, have a list of any medications you’re currently taking, both prescription and over the counter, to share with our clinical team at the start of your visit.
Your first appointment should take approximately 30 minutes. Dr. Curry will take this time to get to know you, review your medical history, assess your current health, and discuss any care or follow-up that may be needed.
