Our online patient portal allows you to easily communicate with your health care team and view information regarding your health according to your schedule no matter the time or place you might be. Our online patient portal is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by using your own secure password.

The patient portal allows you to:

  • View and request appointments
  • Request prescriptions and refills
  • Retrieve test results
  • View personal health information
  • Update demographic information
  • Browse health facts and information
  • View your billing statements and balance
  • Communicate with your provider by sending and receiving secure messages
  • First, you will click this link to access Patient Portal
  • Click on “Sign Up” today
  • Answer a few questions
  • You will receive an email to create your account

If you are an established patient with a Southern West Virginia Health System provider, we recommend that you create a patient portal account. The patient portal account is beneficial to all of our patients.

If you are not an established patient but would like to establish care with one of our providers, please call: 304-824-5806 and speak with a Front Office member who would be happy to assist you.

Having a patient portal account allows you to have access to important information regarding your health, your appointments, and more 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The patient portal allows you to stay up to date on important information in order for you to live your healthiest life.

Additionally, the patient portal also gives you the opportunity to communicate with your provider through secure messaging on topics such as medication related questions and questions you may have on lab work and lab results. However, if you are experiencing a life-threatening medical concern such as a heart attack, stroke, or serious injury please dial 911 for immediate assistance.

If you forget your patient portal password, click on our patient portal link, and then click “Forgot your password?” From there, you will enter your email information to reset your password.
