Healthy communities! It’s why we’re here!
At Southern West Virginia Health System, family medicine is at the heart of what we do. We provide primary care services for patients of all age brackets with a focus on preventive care, treatment of short-term illnesses and minor injuries, and management of chronic diseases. However, none of ‘what’ we do is as effective as what it is meant to be if we don’t improve our communication methods to build relationships between our health clinics and the residents in the communities we serve. To improve the health and wellness of the communities we serve, we must also improve our communication with our residents and their usage of primary care services, so that no matter the age and stage in life, we are taking care of the health-related needs of our families, our neighbors, our friends.
The intent of our health education section is to provide local access to helpful and meaningful information that is relevant to the population of the areas we serve. While we have a starting point to this section, you will find a “Rate This Page” request on each of our content articles. We want to learn from you:
- Was this content helpful?
- What content topic would you like more information about?
We want to thank you in advance for taking a quick moment to let us know the answers to these questions so that as we continue to grow our health education library on our website, we are providing the content that our communities are searching to learn.
