Wellness, Education, Learning and Lifestyle Center

At Southern West Virginia Health System the health and wellness of the communities we serve is our top priority.  Providing a safe and hospitable environment for members of our community to socialize, exercise, and learn, is an important part of how we foster healthy relationships and lifestyle choices that support our youngest to our oldest residents.

On our Lincoln Primary Care Center campus, we have established a center dedicated to providing wellness initiatives to promote programs and activities that encourage healthy lifestyles for residents of all ages and stages.  This center, located behind our Lincoln Primary Care Center clinic building, offers:

  • Senior Lunch Program
  • Fitness Center
  • Walking Track
  • Basketball Court

What is your Senior Lunch Program?

Our senior lunch program provides a hot lunch option that can be eaten on-site in a community environment, or taken as a to-go lunch, Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 12:00pm, to seniors age 55 and older, as well as other members of our community looking for an affordable option for lunch.

  • If you are a dine-in lunch participant, age 55 or older, we ask for a donation toward your meal
  • If you are a dine-in lunch participant, under age 55, the cost of the lunch is $2.00
  • If you are a to-go lunch order, any age, the cost of the lunch is $2.00

We provide a monthly calendar that communicates what the lunch will be in advance.  Or call ahead the morning of the day you are interested in lunch and we would be happy to let you know what the lunch is that day.  You can call to schedule a to-go order as well.  The contact number for our Senior Lunch Program is 304-824-5806 extension 1217.
