Jackson Austin, PA-C, DScPAs, is a board-certified Physician Assistant who joined Southern West Virginia Health System in 2019 with a clear purpose: to strengthen care delivery for patients and support providers who serve them. Jackson's journey into healthcare began with academic distinction at the University of Virginia's College at Wise, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude before earning his Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Charleston. Jackson later went on to earn a Doctor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (DScPAS) from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. His earlier experience included diverse clinical rotations across the region, including service as a first responder, serving as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
