Jerry Skeenes, RPh, is an experienced pharmacist with over forty years of industry experience who joined Southern West Virginia Health System in 2013. Since then, he has been an integral part of our integrated care model at our SWVHS-Sand Plant location, where our pharmacists and providers work side by side to help improve the health and wellness of the communities we serve. 

Our Alum Creek Pharmacy located at SWVHS-Sand Plant provides: 

  • Prescription medications 
  • Over-the-counter medications, vitamins, and first aid supplies 
  • The ability to speak with our pharmacist on duty who can answer any questions you may have about your medications

RPh stands for registered pharmacist, and is a professional designation received after passing national and state pharmacy board examinations. 

What are the days and times your Alum Creek Pharmacy at Sand Plant is open? 

Our Alum Creek Pharmacy is open Monday-Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with the exception of noon to 1:00 pm when they are closed for lunch. 

Does your Alum Creek Pharmacy at Sand Plant have a drive-thru? 

Yes!  We do have drive-thru service at our Alum Creek Pharmacy. 

What are some over-the-counter medications and vitamins I can find at your Alum Creek Pharmacy?
