If you need help finding a Southern West Virginia Health System provider to participate in the program, we welcome your call at: 304-824-5806 ext.1260.

We are always accepting new patients for our MAT program, and we would be happy to answer your questions.

How do I participate in the MAT Program?

Steps to participating in our MAT program are:

  • Schedule an appointment with one of our primary care providers at any of our Southern West Virginia Health System locations to discuss your interest in the program
  • After discussing your interest in the MAT program at the appointment above, your provider will put in a referral for our MAT Program at Lincoln Primary Care Center
  • Once the referral has been received, reviewed, and approved you will meet with our MAT Program Case Manager for an hour and a half to discuss the program’s policies, and procedures
  • Then you will meet for an hour with our Behavioral Health Provider, Mary Aldred-Crouch, for an assessment before you start the program

Is there a set length of time from start to finish for the MAT Program?

Every individual’s journey to recovery from substance use disorder is different, and that is why The MAT Program does not have a specified time-frame or limit for participation. However, you are required to participate in group visits, individual therapy sessions, and more throughout the time that you are participating in the program.

What are the costs of the MAT Program?

Do not let financial concerns prevent you from seeking care from this service. While we accept all West Virginia insurance coverage for the MAT Program, including Medicare and Medicaid, do not let concerns about being uninsured or underinsured prevent you from participating in this program.

If you have questions about payment/insurance options, we encourage you to call: 304-824-5806 ext. 1260 to speak with our MAT Program Case Manager about your concerns.
